1818 Tours was born from a simple conviction: Madeira has some of the world's most beautiful sunrises and sunsets — and very few people ever truly see them.
Who we are
We are a tourism entertainment company based in Madeira, specialised in guided tours to Pico do Areeiro — the island's third highest peak, at 1,818 metres altitude.
What we want is simple: that nobody forgets that morning. We are not a bus with 50 people following a flag. There are eight of us, and a guide who knows the place up there stone by stone.
We are a tourist entertainment agent registered in Portugal's RNAAT under no. 799/2026, and we drive an electric van — going up the mountain belching smoke to then look at the mountain never made much sense to us.
