It's not a bus.
It's eight seats.
We pick you up at your door, while it's still dark. There are eight of us at most — everyone gets to join in and nobody has to put a hand up to ask anything. And the van is electric, because driving up the mountain belching smoke to then go and look at the mountain never made much sense to us.

Everything you need to know
What should I wear?
Up there, even in summer, early-morning temperatures can drop close to 5°C (41°F). We recommend layered clothing, a windbreaker, and comfortable closed shoes.
Is the tour suitable for children or people with reduced mobility?
The paths near the viewpoint are short but uneven in places. Children are welcome with an adult; for reduced mobility, please contact us before booking so we can talk through the route with you.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If conditions at Pico do Areeiro don’t allow for a safe experience or good visibility, we’ll reschedule your tour at no extra cost or offer a full refund.
Where is the meeting point?
The meeting point is arranged after booking, usually at an easily accessible central location. You'll receive all the details by email once your booking is confirmed.
How long does the tour last?
Each tour — sunrise or sunset — lasts around 2h30, including transport to and from the meeting point and time up at the top.
How do I book?
